Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Crib account and all associated data at any time from within the app. No email required, no waiting period. You are in full control.

How to Delete Your Account

Open the Crib app and go to the Profile tab.
Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
Type "DELETE" to confirm.
Tap the delete button. You will see a final confirmation alert.
Confirm. Your account and all data will be permanently deleted.

What Gets Deleted

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. When you delete your account, the following data is immediately and completely removed from our systems:

Your profile (name, photo, bio, university, year, major)
All listings you created, including listing photos
All booking requests (sent and received)
All messages you sent and message threads you participated in
All reviews you wrote and reviews written about you
All reports you filed
All notifications
Your login sessions
Your email address and account record

This cannot be undone. There is no recovery period, no grace window, and no way to restore your account after deletion. If you want to use Crib again, you would need to create a new account.

What About My Uploaded Photos?

Listing photos and your profile photo are stored on our cloud infrastructure. When your account is deleted, the database records linking to these photos are removed. The photo files themselves are cleaned up as part of our storage management.

Can I Just Deactivate Instead?

Crib does not currently offer account deactivation (temporary pause). The only option is full deletion. If you want to step away temporarily, you can simply stop using the app. Your account will remain but you won't receive unsolicited communications.
